Begin by making the sincere intention (niyyah) for performing Ziyarah. It is a way to honor the sacred sites and seek blessings from Allah.
Arrival: Upon entering Medina, visit the Masjid al-Nabawi, the second holiest mosque in Islam, and offer prayers.
Salam to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH): One of the most significant parts of Ziyarah is to visit the Roza (tomb) of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), located inside the mosque. Stand before his grave and offer greetings with the words: "As-salamu 'alaykayaRasul Allah" (Peace be upon you, O Messenger of Allah).
Salat al-Tahiyyat al-Masjid: Pray two Rak'ahs of gratitude for entering the mosque.
In Masjid al-Nabawi, there are the graves of key companions of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) like Abu Bakr, Umar ibn al-Khattab, and others.
You can also offer salutations at these graves with appropriate respect: "As-salamu 'alaykaya Abu Bakr", "As-salamu 'alaykaya Umar", etc.
Masjid al-Qiblatain is the mosque where the qiblah (direction of prayer) was changed from Jerusalem to Mecca.
