Step-by-Step Guide
Detailed Rituals Explanation

Hajj is the fifth pillar of Islam, representing unity, equality, and submission to Allah. This sacred journey to Mecca is required once in a lifetime for those who are physically and financially able.
Following the footsteps of Prophet Ibrahim (AS), pilgrims perform rituals that commemorate significant events in Islamic history and demonstrate their devotion to Allah.
Detailed Rituals Explanation
Begin with the sincere intention to perform Hajj for the sake of Allah.
Enter into the state of Ihram at a designated point (Miqat) before entering Mecca. Wear the special white garments (for men) or simple, modest clothing (for women).
Make the intention for Hajj (Tawaf al-Qudum) and recite the Talbiyah: “Here I am, O Allah, here I am!”
Perform Tawaf al-Qudum (the welcoming Tawaf) upon arrival at the Masjid al-Haram in Mecca.
Pray two Rak'ahs at the Maqam Ibrahim (if possible).
After sunset on the 9th, travel to Muzdalifah.
Spend the night under the open sky and collect pebbles for the stoning of the Jamarat.
On the 9th of Dhul-Hijjah, travel to Arafat for the most significant day of Hajj.
Spend the day in prayer, supplication, and reflection.
Perform Wuquf (standing at Arafat) in the afternoon.
On the 8th of Dhul-Hijjah, travel to Mina, where you will stay for the first night.
On the 10th of Dhul-Hijjah, go to Jamarat and throw seven pebbles at the largest pillar (symbolizing the devil).
Afterward, perform an animal sacrifice (if required) and shave your head (for men) or trim your hair (for women).
Return to Mecca to perform Tawaf al-Ifadah, a key ritual of Hajj.
After Tawaf, you can either return to Mina or stay in Mecca.
Spend the 11th and 12th of Dhul-Hijjah in Mina, performing the stoning of the Jamarat each day.
After completing all rituals, you can remove the state of Ihram and return to your regular routine.
These steps are a simplified outline, and there are additional details involved in each stage, but this is the general progression of performing Hajj.
On the final day, return to Mecca and perform the Tawaf al-Wada, the farewell Tawaf.
